Marty and I got together shortly before christmas in 2010. There was a cookie exchange at my work and I decided to participate. I was going to make some candy cane shaped cookies. Marty wanted to help me make the cookies so we set about forming the candy canes. We called ourselves team candy cane. We had a good time making seven dozen of these cookies. I joked with marty and said he was kicked off of team candy cane for making deformed candy canes. The name stuck and from then on the two of us were team candy cane. I giggle when I see candy canes to this day. Go team candy cane!
